Hello folks! First let me thank you for your interest in Big Frank’s BBQ & Bacon. Let me tell you a little bit about us….
My earliest culinary memories are of Baking Day with my Great Grandmother. My first attempt at a Mother’s Day Breakfast in Bed came at age 6. My mom is no stranger to the kitchen, and I still rely on her input with recipes. After leaving the Army I began a 15 year career in the restaurant and bar industry. I swear I held ever position except waitress. When I finally decided to stay in the industry for a career, I knew that I had to be my own boss. I moved to Boston and attended Le Cordon Bleu in Cambridge, MA. My secret while there was that I wanted to open a BBQ restaurant. With help from my Uncle Kip, himself a Kansas Grand Champion, I bought my first smoker and got to work.
